The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Zara, Vetiver - Unexpected is a Woody Spicy fragrance that defies expectations. The composition opens with the bright and zesty scent of apple, creating an unexpected contrast to the rich earthiness of vetiver in the base. Cashmeran adds a soft, musky warmth to the heart, bridging the gap between the fresh top note and the grounding base. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor overpowering, instead offering a nuanced blend that feels both modern and lasting.
Apply this fragrance in light layers — the apple top note fades quickly but leaves a subtle imprint on the skin. The vetiver base emerges gradually over time, so it's best to let it develop naturally without layering heavily at once.
