The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025 by Aaron Terence Hughes, Requiem is a composition that weaves together warmth and complexity. The fragrance opens with the bright spark of pink pepper and saffron, creating an immediate tension against its deeper base notes. Amber and vanilla absolute provide a rich sweetness, while civet and myrrh lend an animalic depth that grounds the scent in earthy sensuality. Sandalwood, cedar, and benzoin further enhance this warmth with their woody and powdery undertones, resulting in a fragrance that feels both intimate and grand.
Requiem’s top notes fade quickly, so apply a generous amount to ensure the rich base notes come through. The scent develops best close to skin rather than projecting outward, making it ideal for intimate settings where its nuanced depth can be fully appreciated.
