Created by Olivier Cresp in 2018, Malt by Akro is a bold fusion of contrasting elements. The fragrance opens with a marine and aquatic accord that evokes the crisp freshness of coastal breezes, but it quickly shifts to a warm and woody base with notes of leather and patchouli. The addition of whiskey and rum adds an unexpected depth and complexity, making Malt feel both grounded and adventurous.
Malt's marine top notes are particularly bright and can fade quickly, so apply two sprays to ensure they blend well with the richer base. The warm spices and leathery undertones carry through the day, making it a perfect choice for evening or cooler weather.
