The story behind the bottle.
David Apel crafted Driven by Alfred Dunhill, which was launched in 2021 as a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for men. This composition opens with the bright freshness of red apple and lime, punctuated by the warmth of cinnamon and cardamom. The heart is an intriguing blend of jasmine and rose, adding a subtle floral complexity that contrasts beautifully against the top notes. The base notes of vanilla, amyris, amber, musk, and cedar create a rich, enveloping warmth that grounds the fragrance.
Apply Driven to pulse points, as the top notes are bright but brief. The base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, so it's best to layer lightly in the morning and build up as needed throughout the day.
