Launched in 2023 by Amouage, Dia 40 Woman is a Floral Aldehyde fragrance crafted by perfumer Alexandra Carlin. The composition opens with aldehydes and musk, creating an initial sense of freshness and modernity that gives way to a heart of cyclamen, violet leaf, black currant, and rose. The base notes of sandalwood, amyris, and guaiac wood add warmth and depth, grounding the fragrance in rich, powdery woods.
Two sprays will suffice — the aldehydic top notes are bright but fleeting, while the powdery woods in the base provide lasting warmth. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than filling a room, making it ideal for daytime wear.
