The Library Collection Opus III by Amouage was launched in 2010, crafted by Karine Vinchon Spehner. This Oriental Floral fragrance marries traditional Middle Eastern ingredients with modern perfumery techniques. The composition opens with the bright green freshness of Dyer's Greenweed and thyme, before transitioning into a heart of mimosa, jasmine, and ylang-ylang. These florals are enveloped by warm spices like nutmeg and clove, creating an inviting, powdery warmth that is further enhanced by benzoin, vanilla, sandalwood, and musk.
Apply this fragrance in light layers — the powdery warmth builds gradually on the skin. It pairs well with layered clothing, allowing the woody base notes to emerge as the day progresses. Best worn during cooler weather when its rich warmth complements the chill.
