The Library Collection Opus VIII by Amouage, launched in 2014 and crafted by Pierre Negrin and Richard Herpin, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that embodies the opulence of its Omani heritage. The composition opens with bright white florals like jasmine and orange blossom, providing a crisp freshness that contrasts beautifully with warm spices such as saffron and ginger. As it settles, rich amber and woody notes from guaiac wood and vetiver create an enveloping warmth, making this scent both complex and comforting.
Given its enormous sillage and eternal longevity, one or two sprays is sufficient. Allow it to develop on your skin for at least an hour before stepping out; the white florals will give way to a more pronounced woody warmth that lingers throughout the day.
