Launched in 1995, Ubar by Amouage is an Oriental Floral fragrance that embodies the brand's commitment to blending traditional Middle Eastern ingredients with modern perfumery techniques. The composition opens with bright citrus notes of tangerine and orange, which give way to a heart of white florals such as jasmine, ylang-ylang, and tuberose. These are complemented by yellow florals like lily-of-the-valley and orange blossom, creating a lush floral bouquet. The base notes of black amber, sandalwood, copahu balm, patchouli, vanilla, and vetiver add depth and warmth, grounding the fragrance with an earthy, slightly animalic character.
