The story behind the bottle.
Dark by Andrea Maack, launched in 2011 and crafted by perfumer Julien Rasquinet, is a bold Oriental Floral fragrance that balances the warmth of rose and white florals with metallic aldehydic notes. The composition opens with a fresh citrus burst that cuts through the richness, creating an intriguing contrast. As it evolves, Dark reveals its woody depth, grounding the bright top notes in earthy complexity.
Apply Dark with two sprays for the best effect; it blooms slowly over time, so give it at least an hour to fully settle on your skin. It’s ideal for a cool evening when you want a fragrance that evolves as the night does.
