Rossy de Palma Eau de Protection by Etat Libre d'Orange was launched in 2009 and crafted by perfumers Antoine Lie and Antoine Maisondieu. This daring fragrance opens with a fresh, spicy kick from ginger and pepper, which contrasts beautifully with the bright citrus of bergamot. As it settles, Bulgarian rose takes center stage, supported by geranium and jasmine, creating a floral heart that is both lush and refined. The base notes of patchouli, incense, benzoin, and cacao add depth and warmth, grounding the composition in earthy richness.
This fragrance has a strong opening that fades within an hour. For a lasting effect, apply it to pulse points and let it develop on skin rather than spraying liberally into the air. The patchouli base will bloom gradually, providing warmth and depth as the day progresses.
