The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011, Silk by Andrea Maack is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance crafted by Julien Rasquinet. It opens with a bright citrus and green accord that creates an immediate freshness, leading into a heart of yellow florals and soft woods, which brings a sense of warmth and comfort. The earthy and ozonic elements add depth and a subtle aquatic touch, making Silk feel both grounded and ethereal.
One or two sprays are sufficient — the citrus and green top notes are bright but don't last long. The floral and woody base notes take center stage after about an hour and continue to evolve throughout the day, so it's best applied close to skin for a more intimate experience.
