The story behind the bottle.
Supernova by Andrea Maack, launched in 2023, is an exploration of warmth and depth. The composition opens with cinnamon and cardamom, creating a vibrant, spicy contrast that immediately captures the attention. This energetic start gives way to a heart of lavender and saffron, which adds a soft floral note to balance the spiciness. As it settles into its woody base of cedarwood, cypress, leather, oud, and vetiver, Supernova transforms into an enveloping warmth that feels both cozy and mysterious.
Apply Supernova with one generous spritz to allow its warm base notes to bloom fully. It holds up well throughout the day without needing frequent reapplications. The spicy opening is brief but impactful, so let it settle for an hour before reassessing.
