Camelia Intrepide by Atelier Cologne was launched in 2016 as a bold statement from perfumer Jérôme Epinette. This fragrance opens with the bright freshness of Sicilian Lemon and Calabrian bergamot, creating an immediate sense of clarity and energy. The heart introduces nutmeg and violet leaf, adding complexity with their spicy and green notes. Camellia and orris root lend a delicate floral touch, while leather and amber provide warmth and depth, grounding the composition in a powdery, slightly animalic base. This interplay between fresh citrus and rich leathery tones makes Camelia Intrepide both invigorating and intriguing.
Camelia Intrepide has a strong presence from the start, so one or two sprays is sufficient. The citrus notes are bright and immediate, fading after about an hour to reveal the warmer base notes. It's best enjoyed close to skin rather than diffused into a room, making it ideal for intimate settings or personal wear.
