Cologne Intense by Houbigant was launched in 2015 and is the creation of perfumer Luca Maffei. This fragrance opens with a bright citrus-aromatic burst from petitgrain, Sicilian lemon, and Calabrian bergamot. The heart introduces a fresh spicy accord with notes like tarragon and pink pepper, while neroli and Indian jasmine add a subtle white floral touch. As the composition evolves, it settles into an amber base with hints of smoky incense and green mate, creating a warm yet crisp finish that feels both modern and lasting.
Cologne Intense has a quick-evolving composition, with its top notes fading within an hour. Apply it liberally to ensure you capture both the initial burst and the lingering warmth. Best for daytime wear when you want a scent that evolves throughout your day.
