The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2022, James by Atkinsons was crafted by perfumers Olivier Pescheux and Yann Vasnier to embody the brand's heritage of sophisticated elegance with a modern twist. The composition opens with clary sage and bergamot, giving way to finger lime and pink pepper for an aromatic freshness that’s both crisp and intriguing. The heart introduces elemi resin, violet leaf, and white flowers, adding layers of complexity before settling into a warm base of vetiver, patchouli, akigalawood, and musk. This balance creates a scent that is earthy yet refined, making it perfect for contemporary men who appreciate understated luxury.
Apply one or two sprays on pulse points — this fragrance blooms gradually over time. The aromatic top notes are fleeting, but they set up the vetiver and patchouli base beautifully for a lasting warmth that’s perfect for an entire day.
