Launched in 1992 by Atkinsons, Poivre is a complex Floral fragrance that seamlessly blends fresh and warm spicy notes with aromatic herbs. The opening of marigold, pepper, and tarragon introduces an invigorating freshness, while the heart infuses black currant, carnation, jasmine, and mimosa for a floral richness. The base notes of oakmoss, sandalwood, orris root, and vanilla provide a warm, balsamic depth that grounds the composition. Poivre is a proof of Atkinsons' heritage of creating sophisticated scents with a touch of English elegance.
For best effect, apply Poivre two sprays to pulse points. The fragrance opens up quickly but requires about an hour for the full depth of its base notes to emerge. It’s particularly suited for cooler evenings when the spicy warmth feels most inviting.
