The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1975 by Jean Martel, Azzaro is a Woody Chypre fragrance that captures the essence of Mediterranean luxury and hedonism. The composition opens with fruity notes and aldehydes, which create an initial sparkle before giving way to a heart of gardenia, jasmine, rose, and ylang-ylang. These floral notes are then enveloped by earthy accords like oakmoss, vetiver, styrax, benzoin, patchouli, and amber. This fragrance is a proof of the designer's vision of glamour and sensuality.
Apply Azzaro lightly as the base notes are rich and long-lasting. It’s best worn close to skin for a more personal experience rather than projecting into a larger space. The fragrance evolves beautifully over time, so enjoy it in quieter settings where you can appreciate its depth.
