Chrome Pure by Azzaro was launched in 2017 and crafted by Jacques Huclier and Olivier Pescheux. This fragrance is a modern interpretation of the brand's signature Mediterranean luxury — crisp, fresh, and sophisticated. The composition opens with bright citrus notes like mandarin orange and bergamot, giving way to watery accords that evoke the freshness of a coastal breeze. At its heart, it features orange blossom and akigalawood, creating a delicate balance between floral sweetness and woody depth. The base notes of tonka bean, mate, white musk, and cedar add warmth and sensuality, grounding the fragrance in a rich, modern elegance.
Apply this fragrance in light layers, as the citrus top notes are bright but fade quickly. The woody base takes about an hour to fully emerge, so a second application can help maintain its lasting warmth throughout the day.

The nose behind A*MenJacques Huclier is a senior perfumer trained at ISIPCA who began his career at Haarmann & Reimer (now Symrise), mentored by Olivier Cresp and Pierre Bourdon, before moving through Quest and returning to Givaudan in 2003.
