French Bouquet by BDK Parfums, launched in 2020 and crafted by perfumer Amelie Bourgeois, is a Chypre Floral fragrance that embodies the essence of French elegance. The composition opens with aldehydes and bergamot, creating an aromatic freshness that cuts through the richness of its heart notes: rose, jasmine, and orange blossom. These florals are balanced by the warmth of labdanum, violet, tobacco, and sandalwood in the base, resulting in a harmonious blend of powdery and woody accords.
French Bouquet is best applied in small doses; its complexity unfolds gradually on skin. The aromatic top notes are bright but fleeting, so layering it with a light mist over time enhances its longevity without overpowering the base notes.
