Launched in 2016 by Boadicea the Victorious and crafted by perfumer Christian Provenzano, Notorious is a bold and complex fragrance that defies convention. The composition opens with cinnamon and saffron, creating an immediate sense of warmth and intrigue, before transitioning into the heart notes of ylang-ylang and dark chocolate. This rich foundation is anchored by a woody, smoky base that includes leather, castoreum, and patchouli. Notorious is neither purely masculine nor feminine, embodying the brand's commitment to gender-neutral perfumes that are quintessentially British yet incomparably distinctive.
Notorious has strong sillage and a long-lasting presence, so one or two sprays are sufficient. The cinnamon and saffron top notes are most pronounced in the first hour but give way to a rich leather and chocolate base that lingers throughout the day.
