Classica by Bortnikoff was launched in 2021, crafted by Dmitry Bortnikoff himself. This fragrance marries the crisp freshness of citrus with the deep warmth of woody and leather notes, creating a composition that feels both modern and lasting. The top notes of neroli, lemon, bergamot, and orange blossom introduce a bright, invigorating freshness that transitions into a heart of rose de mai, heliotrope, and iris. The base notes of sandalwood, castoreum, birch tar, palisander rosewood, musk, ambergris, tonka bean, labdanum, patchouli, and vanilla bring a rich, enveloping warmth that feels like the embrace of an old friend.
One or two sprays are sufficient as Classica's base notes take time to bloom. The fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room, so aim for pulse points like your wrists and neck for maximum impact.
