The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2023 by Bortnikoff and crafted by Maxim Bortnikov, Victoria is a fragrance that balances the fresh spiciness of elemi and black pepper with the earthy richness of agarwood (oud) and oakmoss. The composition opens with an aromatic burst of lavender and elemi before transitioning into a heart of orange blossom, apple, and jasmine, creating a warm yet crisp effect. The base notes of ambrette, sandalwood, and labdanum ground Victoria in its earthy complexity, making it a scent that feels both modern and lasting.
Victoria's aromatic and woody base notes develop slowly over time, so it’s best to apply lightly in the morning. The scent is close-to-skin rather than expansive, making it perfect for daytime wear where its nuanced layers can be appreciated up close.
