The story behind the bottle.
Reveal by Calvin Klein, launched in 2014 and crafted by perfumers Bruno Jovanovic and Jean-Marc Chaillan, is an intriguing blend of fresh spiciness and warm musk. The fragrance opens with a burst of black pepper, white pepper, and pink pepper, creating an immediate sense of freshness and vitality. As the composition develops, it settles into a powdery base anchored by ambergris, cashmeran, sandalwood, and musk, which add layers of warmth and comfort. The inclusion of iris and vetiver adds depth, grounding the scent with earthy undertones.
Apply Reveal in light layers, allowing each note to unfold over time. The peppery top notes are intense but fleeting, so a second application after an hour can help maintain that initial burst of freshness while letting the powdery base take center stage.
