The story behind the bottle.
Shalimar Eau de Parfum by Guerlain was launched in 1990 and is a creation of Jacques Guerlain. This fragrance embodies the opulent heritage of Guerlain, blending rich accords of citrus, amber, woody notes, vanilla, balsamic scents, powdery nuances, smoky undertones, and leather. The composition opens with bright citruses like bergamot and lemon, which gradually give way to a heart filled with floral essences such as jasmine and rose. As it settles, the base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, and musk create an enveloping warmth that is both luxurious and lasting.
Shalimar Eau de Parfum has become one of Guerlain's most iconic creations, known for its ability to balance fresh top notes with a rich, warm heart and a lingering base. It remains a benchmark in the world of Oriental spicy fragrances, celebrated for its depth and complexity.
Shalimar Eau de Parfum has strong sillage and long-lasting qualities, so one generous spray is sufficient. It performs best in cooler temperatures where its warmth can shine without overpowering. Apply it close to pulse points for the most impactful experience.

Jacques Guerlain
The poet of the golden ageJacques Guerlain is one of the greatest perfumers who ever lived — the man who gave the world Shalimar, Mitsouko, L'Heure Bleue, and Vol de Nuit. As the third-generation perfumer of the House of Guerlain, he elevated the family craft into high art.
