Launched in 2013 by Caron and crafted by perfumer Richard Fraysse, La Selection My Ylang is a floral masterpiece that embodies the elegance and sophistication of its French heritage. The fragrance opens with bright bursts of ylang-ylang and mandarin orange, creating a fresh and vibrant atmosphere. As it settles into a heart of jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, and rose, these soft florals intertwine to create an intricate floral bouquet. The base notes of vanilla and woody accords bring warmth and depth, grounding the composition in a comforting embrace.
La Selection My Ylang projects best when applied to pulse points and allowed to settle for about five minutes. The top notes dissipate quickly, so it's important to let the heart and base notes bloom on the skin for a full experience.

Richard Fraysse, a third-generation perfumer and son of Lanvin's André Fraysse (creator of Arpège), was the in-house perfumer for the House of Caron — a company that, from its founding, has always employed its own dedicated nose.
