Rose Ebène (2021) by Caron is a daring Oriental Floral fragrance that challenges traditional notions of floral scents with its rich and complex composition. Created by perfumer Jean Jacques, this unisex scent opens with cardamom and saffron before diving into the heart of Turkish rose, styrax, and coffee. The base notes of leather, birch, patchouli, and vetiver add a smoky and animalic depth that makes Rose Ebène stand out in a crowded field of floral fragrances.
Given its long-lasting nature and moderate sillage, Rose Ebène is best applied sparingly. A single spritz in key areas like pulse points will allow the fragrance to develop gradually on the skin throughout the day.
