The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Mancera and crafted by Pierre Montale, Black to Black is a warm spicy leather fragrance that embodies the brand's Art Deco-inspired elegance. The composition opens with saffron and cloves, adding an unexpected depth to the traditional leather accord. This is followed by a heart of rose and jasmine, which soften the ruggedness with floral warmth. The base notes of oud, patchouli, and white musk create a rich, animalic finish that lingers on skin. Black to Black is a sophisticated blend where luxury ingredients like saffron and oud underscore its refined character.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced experience. The spicy opening is intense but fades quickly, so ensure the base notes have time to develop. This fragrance reads best in cooler weather when its rich animalic qualities are most pronounced.
