The story behind the bottle.
Chanel No 5 Parfum Baccarat Grand Extrait, launched in 2021 and crafted by Jacques Polge, is a modern interpretation of one of the most iconic fragrances ever created. This version amplifies the original's signature aldehydic floral character with powdery, woody, and musky notes that envelop the wearer in a rich, warm embrace. The composition opens with bright citrus and floral accords before settling into an earthy base of amber, patchouli, sandalwood, and vetiver, creating a scent that is both lasting and contemporary.
Apply this Grand Extrait to pulse points for the most lasting effect — its rich base notes take time to develop fully. Given its depth, one or two sprays are sufficient; it's designed to be worn close to skin rather than broadcast across a room.
