The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by Comme des Garcons and crafted by perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault, Amazingreen is an aromatic green fragrance that challenges traditional notions of scent. The composition opens with a striking note of green bell pepper, which introduces a fresh, almost edgy quality. This contrasts beautifully with the warm, woody base notes like vetiver and white musk, creating a complex interplay between freshness and depth. The addition of flint and gunpowder adds an unexpected smoky element that grounds the fragrance in a distinctive way.
Amazingreen projects strongly due to its green and smoky elements, so one spray is often enough. The fragrance blooms over an hour, so it’s best applied before you leave home in the morning for optimal impact throughout the day.
