Launched in 2004, Comme des Garçons Series 6 Synthetic: Garage by Marie-Aude Couture is a woody and aldehydic fragrance that captures the essence of an industrial space. The composition opens with a sharp blend of aldehydes and floral notes, creating a crisp yet smoky atmosphere. As it settles, vetiver and Chinese cedar add depth, grounding the scent in earthy tones while leather adds a touch of animalic warmth.
Apply lightly — the aldehydic opening is strong but fades quickly. The base notes take about an hour to develop fully, so a light first pass will allow them to build naturally over time. Ideal for cooler weather when you want a fragrance that feels both modern and grounded.
