Launched in 2021 by Comme des Garçons and crafted by Nelly Hachem-Ruiz, ERL Sunscreen is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that defies the typical expectations of sun-kissed scents. The composition opens with solar notes and bergamot before transitioning into a heart of peach and heliotrope, which adds an unexpected layer of sweetness and depth. The base notes of coconut, musk, and cedar create a warm, enveloping finish that feels both modern and nostalgic.
One to two sprays will suffice as the fragrance is concentrated in parfum form. The solar and aldehydic notes are most prominent initially but give way to a warm, enveloping base that blooms over time, making it ideal for evening wear or cooler days.
