Launched in 1952 by Dior and crafted by Edmond Roudnitska, Eau de Cologne Fraîche is a Chypre Floral fragrance that blends freshness with depth. The composition opens with bright citrus notes of lemon and lemon verbena, creating an invigorating start. This freshness transitions into a heart of jasmine and rose, adding a touch of floral elegance, while the base notes of palisander rosewood, oakmoss, patchouli, and amber provide earthy warmth and complexity.
For best results, apply this cologne in light spritzes to pulse points. The citrus opening is vibrant but fades within an hour; allow it to settle into its floral and woody base for a well-rounded experience throughout the day.
