The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1984 by Dior and crafted by perfumer Edmond Roudnitska, Eau Sauvage Extreme is a bold evolution of the original Eau Sauvage. This citrus-aromatic composition opens with bright notes of lemon, bergamot, and basil, creating an invigorating freshness that contrasts beautifully with earthy and woody undertones. The heart features lavender and rosemary, adding a touch of herbal warmth before settling into a base of patchouli, sandalwood, oakmoss, and musk. This fragrance captures the essence of Dior’s refined elegance while infusing it with a modern edge.
This fragrance has excellent longevity and moderate sillage, so one or two sprays on pulse points is sufficient. It's best applied in the morning to allow its complex layers to unfold throughout the day. The earthy and woody notes make it suitable for both office and evening wear.
