Launched in 2010 by Dior and crafted by François Demachy, La Collection Couturier Parfumeur Leather Oud is a bold and sophisticated fragrance that blends animalic leather with the warmth of oud. The composition opens with an intense blend of civet and leather before giving way to woody notes like agarwood, patchouli, sandalwood, birch, cedar, and vetiver. The base includes cardamom, cloves, amyris, beeswax, amber, and labdanum, creating a rich and enveloping scent that is both warm and smoky.
Apply to pulse points for warmth; this fragrance is best experienced close to skin rather than from across a room. The woody base takes about an hour to fully bloom, so give it time to settle in.
