Launched in 2013 by Boadicea the Victorious and crafted by perfumer Christian Provenzano, Mayfair is a deeply evocative fragrance that marries animalic and woody notes with a warm, leathery embrace. The composition opens with the spicy richness of cardamom and cloves, which seamlessly meld into the rich, smoky aroma of oud and beeswax. This creates a complex interplay between earthy warmth and subtle animalic undertones, making it a scent that feels both lasting and modern.
Given its strong sillage and eternal longevity, one or two sprays is sufficient to make Mayfair last throughout the day. It’s best worn close to the skin for a more intimate experience rather than filling an entire room. Let it settle for at least 15 minutes before you step out.
