Jean-Michel Duriez launched D G Anthology La Lune 18 for Dolce&Gabbana in 2009, crafting a composition that balances the crisp freshness of green and fruity notes with the warmth of tuberose and leather. The fragrance opens with red apple and bergamot before leading to a heart of lily and tuberose, which are grounded by a base of musky and powdery accords. This interplay between bright top notes and rich base notes creates an intriguing tension that evolves throughout the day.
