Dolce&Gabbana launched D G Anthology La Temperance 14 in 2011 as part of their sophisticated collection, blending the house's signature Italian elegance with a nuanced olfactory profile. The fragrance opens with ambrette and pink pepper, creating an intriguing tension between earthy warmth and sharp freshness. This is followed by iris and orris, which lend depth and a subtle floral sweetness. As it settles into its base notes of musk, patchouli, and oriental accords, La Temperance 14 transforms into a rich, enveloping scent that feels both intimate and alluring.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced wear. The ambrette note fades quickly, so allowing it to develop on skin is key. For best results, layer it over dry skin in cooler temperatures where its warm spicy and musky base notes will linger.
