Devotion Pour Homme Parfum by Dolce&Gabbana is a contemporary Oriental Fougere fragrance that marries the sharp freshness of lavender and citrus with the warm, enveloping notes of vanilla and coffee. Perfumer Olivier Cresp has crafted this scent to evoke a sense of modern elegance, blending traditional Italian luxury with a fresh twist. The composition opens with a bright burst of lemon and black pepper before diving into a heart of lavender and cypress, which adds an aromatic depth. The base notes of Madagascar vanilla, guaiac wood, and oakmoss create a warm, woody foundation that lingers on the skin.
Apply this fragrance lightly; the top notes are bright but fade quickly into the heart and base. Two sprays on each wrist and behind the ears will allow the woody warmth to develop over time. It's best worn during cooler hours, as the spicy and vanilla notes can be too rich for a hot summer day.
