Launched in 1987, Metropolis by Estée Lauder is a chypre fragrance crafted by Pierre Wargnye. This composition opens with bright and fresh notes of pineapple and peppermint, creating an invigorating contrast against the woody, earthy base of cedar, moss, and leather. The heart of lavender, neroli, and clary sage adds a soft floral touch that keeps the fragrance from becoming too heavy. Metropolis is a proof of Estée Lauder's legacy of blending modernity with classic elegance.
