Launched in 2014, Cologne by Etat Libre d'Orange is a daring and unconventional fragrance that embodies the brand's audacious spirit. The composition opens with vibrant bergamot and blood orange, bringing an immediate rush of freshness and zing. As it evolves, green notes and orange blossom introduce a subtle floral warmth, while jasmine adds depth. The base layers of musk and leather create a complex contrast, grounding the bright citrus top notes in earthy, sensual undertones.
One or two sprays are enough to capture its essence — the bright top notes will fade within an hour but the base notes of musk and leather linger longer. Best applied in the morning for a refreshing yet complex aroma that evolves throughout the day.
