The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Fragrance Du Bois, Heritage is a composition that balances fresh aldehydic notes with rich woody and powdery accords. The fragrance opens with bright bergamot and citrus, creating an initial freshness before settling into the heart of floral notes like jasmine and orris root. These are complemented by incense and white florals, adding depth and a slightly spicy warmth. The base is anchored by sandalwood, vanilla, cedar, and agarwood (oud), providing a luxurious and long-lasting finish that feels both modern and lasting.
Apply Heritage to pulse points for a lasting effect. The aldehydic opening is bright but fades quickly, so ensure you layer it well with the base notes that emerge after an hour. This fragrance reads best in cooler settings where its powdery warmth can be fully appreciated.
