The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2006 by Givenchy, Lovely Prism is a composition that balances freshness and warmth with an unexpected twist. Perfumer Mark Buxton crafts a scent where bright citrus notes mingle seamlessly with fruity accents, creating a lively opening. As the fragrance evolves, iris and woody accords bring a grounding depth, while powdery and green undertones add a touch of sophistication.

How to wear it

Lovely Prism's bright top notes dissipate within the first hour, so apply it at the beginning of your day to capture its full vibrancy. The woody and powdery base lasts longer, making this fragrance ideal for daytime wear when you want an evolving scent throughout the hours.

Mark Buxton

The blind-test prodigy

Mark Buxton, born in England and raised near Hamburg, entered perfumery almost by accident: at 21, a German game show challenge to identify 600 perfumes by scent alone caught the attention of Haarmann & Reimer, who offered him a place in their Paris training program.
