The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2023, Temeraire by Givenchy is a bold Oriental Floral fragrance crafted by perfumer Nicolas Bonneville. The composition opens with the freshness of clove leaf and cardamom, creating an aromatic spiciness that immediately captures attention. As it evolves, tuberose and jasmine add layers of floral richness, while iris contributes a subtle earthiness. The base notes of ink, cade oil, and benzoin introduce a complex interplay of warmth and depth, infusing the fragrance with a distinct animalic character that makes Temeraire truly distinctive.

How to wear it

Two sprays are sufficient to capture Temeraire's complexity. The aromatic top notes dissipate within two hours but give way to a rich base that continues to evolve throughout the day. This fragrance is best applied closer to skin for an intimate experience rather than filling a room.
