Launched in 2023 by Gucci, Flora Gorgeous Magnolia is an evocative chypre floral composition crafted by perfumers Daphné Bugey and Marie Salamagne. The fragrance opens with dewberry and coconut, creating a lush, fruity sweetness that transitions into the delicate white florals of magnolia, jasmine sambac, and lily of the valley. The heart is further enriched with ylang-ylang, adding a warm, tropical touch before settling into a base of musk and patchouli, which bring earthy depth and lasting warmth.
This fragrance is best applied to pulse points for optimal warmth and longevity. The coconut and dewberry notes are bright but fleeting, so aim for a slightly heavier application initially to ensure the musk and patchouli base has time to develop fully on the skin.
