Gucci Eau de Parfum II was launched in 2004 by perfumers Antoine Maisondieu and Daniela Andrier. This Floral Fruity fragrance opens with a burst of black currant, red berries, and cassia, creating an immediate sense of freshness and sweetness. The heart notes of peony, violet, freesia, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley add layers of floral complexity, while the base of cedar, musk, and heliotrope provides a warm, powdery finish.
Despite being phased out in the US during Frida Giannini's tenure as creative director, Gucci Eau de Parfum II has developed a cult following. Fans have actively petitioned for its relaunch, with collectors seeking vintage bottles on the secondary market, cementing its status as a beloved classic.
This fragrance blooms slowly over time, so apply it generously at the start of your day. The fruity top notes will linger for about an hour before giving way to its floral heart and powdery base, ensuring a smooth transition from morning to night.
