Frenchy Lavande by Guerlain, launched in 2021 and created by perfumer Delphine Jelk, is an aromatic fougère that captures the essence of French elegance with a modern twist. The composition opens with the freshness of lemon verbena, bergamot, and citron, creating a vibrant top note that is both invigorating and uplifting. As it evolves, lavender takes center stage, supported by sage and petitgrain, which add depth and herbal richness. The base notes of vetiver, ambergris, and tonka bean ground the fragrance with earthy warmth and subtle sweetness.
Apply Frenchy Lavande to pulse points for a strong first impression. The citrus top notes are bright but dissipate quickly, so it’s best to layer with the heart and base notes to maintain its full character throughout the day.
