Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Guerlinade by Guerlain was launched in 1921 and crafted by Jacques Guerlain, capturing the essence of classic French elegance. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes from bergamot and lime blossom, which give way to a heart of lilac and orris, adding depth and complexity. At its core, Guerlinade is defined by its rich floral bouquet, featuring rose and jasmine, underscored by warm vanilla and tonka bean, creating an enveloping sweetness that feels both lasting and luxurious.
This fragrance is best applied in small doses; the citrus opening fades quickly, and the base notes need time to develop. A single spray on each wrist allows the warm floral heart and vanilla base to emerge gradually throughout the day.
