Launched in 2009 by Guerlain, Mitsouko Fleur de Lotus is a floral fragrance that captures the essence of a Japanese woman named Mitsuoko. This jubilant edition arrives 90 years after the first Mitsouko was introduced, embodying passion hidden behind mysteries and secrets. The composition opens with an aqua-fresh ozonic note, reminiscent of a morning mist over a tranquil lotus pond, before transitioning to a heart of delicate florals that evoke the subtle grace of Mitsuoko herself.
This fragrance is best applied sparingly — one or two sprays are enough to let the ozonic freshness mingle with the florals without overpowering. It blooms beautifully close to skin, making it ideal for a quiet afternoon rather than a crowded evening.
