The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011 by Hermès, 24 Faubourg Jeu Des Omnibus Et Dames Blanches is a sophisticated Oriental Floral fragrance for women, crafted by perfumers Bernard Bourjois and Maurice Roucel. The composition opens with bright citrus notes of bergamot and orange, which mingle seamlessly with the vibrant hyacinth. These fresh and green top notes give way to a heart rich in floral accents such as ylang-ylang, peach, orange blossom, gardenia, black elder, jasmine, and iris. The base notes of amber, sandalwood, patchouli, and vanilla provide a warm and powdery finish that grounds the fragrance with a sense of elegance and depth.
This fragrance has a strong presence from its citrus opening but evolves into a warmer, more powdery scent after an hour. Apply it lightly to avoid overwhelming the nuanced layers. It pairs well for daytime use in cooler weather, where the fresh top notes balance with the rich base.
