The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2006 by Jean-Claude Ellena, Elixir des Merveilles is a luminous reverie of golden warmth and delicate indulgence. The fragrance opens with the zest of blood orange, immediately brightening the senses before giving way to the honeyed heart of caramel and butter biscuit. This gourmand charm sets the stage for an intimate secret, as the composition settles into a sumptuous base of amber and sandalwood that unfolds throughout the day with quiet sophistication.
Given its long-lasting nature and moderate sillage, one generous spritz is sufficient. The top notes dissipate within an hour, but the base notes continue to develop close to skin for hours. Best enjoyed in a cozy setting rather than outdoors.
